What a time with the Wii!

Image
The children were lucky enough to get a Nintendo Wii from Abbi and Abba this Christmas. It took them a little bit to get used to it, but as you can tell they are getting it now! Matt and I have even played a best of three tennis match and, of course, I won!

Christmas Eve & Luke 2

Image
As we do most Christmas Eves we again acted out Luke 2 with the children. We spent the evening with the McRaes and it was a great time! The children did a fantastic job playing their roles and they loved every minute of it! Selah was the star as baby Jesus...she didn't start to fuss till the very end. The night ended with a gingerbread house making contest and some hot homemade donuts!

We've finally trimmed our tree!

Image
Due to a mischievous little two year old, we wanted to wait as long as possible to put up our tree this year. It went off without a hitch and we must say we think it looks pretty darn good. The children loved it as we listened to a little Mariah Christmas music, drank hot cocoa, and got a fire going. It was a very festive FHE tonight in the Nickel home!

The Second Half...

Image
Here are Brower(3), Selah(2mo.), Ira(2)... the last half of the children. Selah looks very comfortable sitting in between the two brutes. Matt says she looks like Snoop Dogg in this pictures. She is still swimming in newborn clothes. She's growing taller, but she needs some chunk!

Making that list...

Look who we ran into while walking around at Phipps Plaza. The kids were thrilled, they couldn't believe Santa was stopping to talk to them!

Our Little Women

Image
Our little girls are growing up. They have so much fun together. From left to right....Eliza(7), Emma(8), Savannah(5). What a cute bunch!

Posing in Brass Plum

Image
We went to the mall last week and wherever we went, Savannah was imitating the poses of the mannequin's. She would stand there motionless while shoppers walked by whispering, pointing, and smiling. I guess she's overcoming her shyness! This isn't a foreshadowing of things to come, however, this is as far as modeling goes in our house!

Happy Thanksgiving! We were so happy that Elizabeth, Jeff, and Jack could come for a visit and celebrate with us! Our friend, Byron, also celebrated with us. Actually, he made most of dinner. He is a great cook! We are sticking around Georgia during Christmas time too. If any of you want to come for a visit, you are welcome.
